I'll start off with a BIG Thank You to my Honey for letting me go on my two girls nights a couple weeks ago! Also for letting me beat, I mean play, Falon at Canasta last night also. I love you sooo much you are the best Husband ever!
I'd also like to say how much I LOVE Canasta and will be going to the store later today to purchase it so I can talk Josh into playing it with me nightly instead of waiting for once every two weeks with my girls.
Another shout out to GARAGE SAILING! Oh how I love your .25 books and all the presents I've bought for Caleb for Christmas for a total of $7 and your .25-.50 cent clothes in great condition for my babies and MYSELF! I got 11 new pieces of clothing for 5.50 and the only thing wrong with them was the lady's husband was sick of seeing them and wanted her to go shopping. Whoo Hoo. Josh was also saying that when he realized he'd get some of his clothes back now.
The one with the glasses looks just like a picture I've seen of Josh's Dad when he was younger!
Besides being busy taking care of a gorgeous selfish Wife and the most beautiful kids in the whole world Josh is still working hard and is going strong with the English class that he's taking. He actually is thinking about how to get school finished. He's been thinking about quitting and living off loans for a few years so he can fully concentrate on school. But he could still work FT and go to school PT then his work would pay for school and he'd still get paid but it would be a lot more stressful. Please give him input. Call him or leave a comment it's a huge decision and he likes to get lots of opinions and examples.
THE CALEB TRAIN: Monday Caleb had fevers ranging from 101.9-104.3. Turned out he had a massive ear infection. He's fine now just a little cuddly.
Caleb keeps asking to go on a mission..... a choo choo train mission. I'll ask him where he wants to go and He'll say "Mere" and give me his hand and then well go outside where we have to sing 'Hut 2, 3, 4 keep it up 2, 3, 4 and Caleb will make an Elephant trumpet sound' (That's from Jungle Book) We keep walking until we reach the car. Then he'll say that's the choo choo train!, and there our Mission ends. I guess at least he has it in his head to serve
Caleb Mommy Convo:
Caleb slapping Me on the face to wake me up "Mommy! Nanny waked up"
Me "OK tell me when she's REALLY crying and I'll go get her"
Caleb 2 seconds later "Mommy, GET UP!"
I go and get Natalie and when I come down Caleb yells "Nan-na-lie!"
Natalie loves her brother so no matter how tired she is she'll squeal in delight to which Caleb replies "Mommy, she loves me".
He's starting to speak and understand so well and put coherent sentences together. He's really good at copying words and when I sound things out for him he gets it even better! He loves to learn new words. I'm always asking "What's that?" or " What's happening?" so he can tell me what's going on in a scene on TV or in a book so now he'll ask me what's going on and when I answer he'll say "Yup" or "Good Job!" That's his new phrase.
Natalie News:
Natalie accomplishments include
Waving HI
Standing up voluntarily on her own! She's taken a couple of steps for Mommy.
Saying Daddy, Ma Ma, Brad, Asia, and HI to her Mommy.
Natalie is becoming so lively she crawls so fast and finally has become interested in eating! She hated opening her mouth for anything but a bottle and now even with only two teeth she'll eat carrots, chicken, potatoes (her favorite), oatmeal and much more. The trick with both of my kids is that they like spices and food with FLAVOR. They hate bland baby food in the jars. Oh yeah and she copies Caleb like crazy. When Caleb wasn't feeling too well earlier this week he decided at 7:30 P.M it was time for bed so he grabbed a pillow and blanket to lay on the floor. Natalie crawled right over and lay down with him. Then proceeded to wrestle with him. I'll get it on video one time and post it. They get really crazy and rough!
