We are all so proud of him. It's been a long time coming since he started going to school. Lots of late nights at work and at home trying to get school work done, Lots of traveling and loneliness and tears but it really is all worth it to see this picture of him :)<br /><br />We love you Joshua and we are all so very glad that you have chosen to go to school and get an education to better yourself and to benefit our family. I hope our kids can look back at these pictures and realize that they were a part of this experience with us and that they will have the same conviction about getting an education regardless of the cost. Congrats baby!Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-85813932095752491552012-04-30T09:44:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.716-08:00Josh's turn!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dzenkbdLGUuzZV_q3ofqydN7w0-xN8RspV7qhbrMTKEPr9q1bH0o567boEHi9cutfOoci1VHfDfBlsyGYsRhQ' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>Josh thought he would try giving birth. She smiles now but she wouldn't for the camera. </div><div style="text-align: center; "><br /></div><div style="text-align: center; ">Abigail came into this world August 6th, 2011 weighing 6lbs 15oz and 20.5 inches long. She was 3 days late and I was done being pregnant so we induced her. Once I was ready to push it took 2 pushes and she was out! The Dr. said that she started to spin out of the birth canal one way and then stopped and spun 270 degrees the opposite way and then flew out. That's why her head is so perfectly round. (well was cuz it sure isn't now). When she was born she was severely tongue-tied which led to a whole mess of problems nursing and we have just barely been doing well at it. She lost a bunch of weight from not being able to nurse so as of last Monday she weighed 8lbs 11oz. </div><div style="text-align: center; "><br /></div><div style="text-align: center; ">Abigail had jaundice bad enough that she spent two nights under the Bili lights. What we found out is that Abigail has A+ blood and I have O+ blood so our blood wasn't working together and Abbie's body couldn't get rid of my blood fast enough so she got jaundice worse than she would have if she was the same blood. Now all of my kids have had high jaundice levels but only Jonah and Abbie had to be under the lights for it. So maybe Jonah is A+ blood too. Josh always thought he was O+ blood type but apparently he isn't because the only way that Abbie can be be A blood is if Josh is A blood also :) it's been a fight between us because Josh jokes that Abbie must not be his LOL. I used to give blood and so I have a donor card with my blood type on it. Next time the Red Cross is in town donating blood I'm going to make him go and hopefully they'll send him the same type of card and we'll know for certain.</div><div style="text-align: center; "><br /></div><div style="text-align: center; ">Any who back to Abs. She is just so cute and is now learning to smile and does it quite often. She's a pretty good sleeper and still gets up every 2-3 hours to eat but last night she slept 5 hours straight! I don't think my body knew what to do with that. All the kids love Abbie and love to kiss and hold her. I can't wait for her to get a bit bigger so they won't hurt her so much when they try to love on her. She has been such a fun addition to our family and I'm so glad she came to us. She is the perfect ending to our family :) (And no Casie there will not be a whoops baby, we've already had our share of those LOL).</div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-79268849178119915812011-07-30T06:26:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.737-08:00The Waiting Game<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDF000WGbo95U99GCX2tmIXm-jcziGmV_bQy8TdCoWl8amoH1UjKLyJPN-4lOFBUe_q-GRm8pOij-H2jV5filTTBmEIUiS1_uo405NRDSTeMuJF2xav_l-9ogpojFcOVzjRWsMGJHthSS6/s1600/100_3435.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDF000WGbo95U99GCX2tmIXm-jcziGmV_bQy8TdCoWl8amoH1UjKLyJPN-4lOFBUe_q-GRm8pOij-H2jV5filTTBmEIUiS1_uo405NRDSTeMuJF2xav_l-9ogpojFcOVzjRWsMGJHthSS6/s400/100_3435.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635141401770310738" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 299px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr0ZRmnutadCwXqO-q-NFVLiVGJPcJQ6x0xa4MLllzEAzEL4AuPDt9qciXZI74fBLs6BC9eJASdXy_U-2touhbIcz5fy3_YOqK4XkZR36WQKGsTrS3F7Djk_EpJhbvPQZKQs97ACAYQTYR/s400/DSCN3879.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635141398420256610" /></div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnT-1NdxZLUHdmdAp_hHEM9PkjRgcIsbpiQneVN-u_ftRftHCplrkfUU1BCGyNwdXqQDIik-rt6r0Uczs9zWN7cJhdYB2J3qB9nYf8J0iDqsHImVb3TROTrjI5aKSIV_wDZSvdxqjYxFFW/s1600/100_3435.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"></a><div><br /></div>So here we still are waiting and waiting. We are 4 days from our due date :( and still no Baby. I wanted to take a picture to see h0w big I really was and it became a family event. I think Natalie was showing everyone her baby in her tummy and that's why she is flashing you. Who knows though. (Ugh please forgive my appearance. I had just gotten out of the shower and it was 7 at night and I wasn't going to do my hair just for the picture)<div><br /></div><div>I reposted a picture I took when I was in my final days of Jonah's pregnancy. I am trying to see who I was bigger with and hopefully get a better vision of what my babies weight could possibly be. I think I was bigger with Jonah but only on the sides :) Guess only time will tell how big she really is.<br /><div><br /></div><div>Josh and I have been busy. I just finished a spring and summer semester at Dixie and both Josh and I will be going back to school in the fall. I hope I can get it all worked out cuz if I do I will be able to get my associates in May and Josh will be walking with his bachelors then also. Josh also is still doing his band a few times a week and is loving it. </div><div><br /></div><div>Caleb just finished preschool and in literally like 3 weeks will be starting kindergarten! I can't believe how fast it's all happening. </div><div><br /></div><div>Natalie just finished her first summer at preschool and will go back in the fall. She talks about it all the time. </div><div><br /></div><div>Jonah boy is getting so big. He talks sooo much and is quite the bully. I call him my little monster, and he truly is :) </div><div><br /></div><div>Having this new baby is going to be a serious adventure. Between nursing her, taking care of Jonah, Caleb in afternoon school, Natalie in morning preschool, and me in school it's going to be a very busy busy year. I'm so glad that I have such a support system here in St. George to help me out. </div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-63150502520607735622011-02-18T08:14:00.000-08:002016-11-09T21:35:14.748-08:00New Years<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div>So today is the start of my flash back Friday! LOL. Thanks Erin I stole the idea from you. On Friday's I will post some older pictures that I forgot to blog and then after a few weeks I'll put them where they are supposed to be chronologically.</div><div><br /></div><div>Josh's band headlined a concert at the Jazzy Java on New Years. Here's a picture of Josh belting it out :)</div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyUy0_hkTREOaELQUyAf8_fjcoftGPTuf4v-h3qcM1wD-DdPZYOuHCrx2l-RZSKV_n8euZHU40XzJuSWzvS4O6dYagxqr4ZKZjDTe3d-onE6EzYh9UFc_YFrczg1ymN8hz5KQ5sYG5GNoO/s400/100_3034.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575064983503735922" /><div>Now the funniest part of this whole evening is these two girls in the right corner of this picture. They were sitting behind me the whole evening. Partway through the evening, Josh introduced everyone in the band he forgot himself. They yelled out "What's your name Hottie!" LOL the rest of the night they were giggling and yelling at him and finally ended up up close to the stage cheering him on. They had to have been like 16! I took some pictures for Josh so he could forever have them of his first groupies! hehehehehe<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizXKli-V1Lvc6dSlTjhQG2KUoNJUfs6CxhFnxIENwHyB3ZXP4MrHHKBsHDRw5-v9bIMt2V-q9VOx1fRk5UFeFyu3-8L2kZliE4RJF4ff29RE1MlmIErHM3jSRvJrpKf2IpUNdak3tuSpw-/s1600/100_3037.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizXKli-V1Lvc6dSlTjhQG2KUoNJUfs6CxhFnxIENwHyB3ZXP4MrHHKBsHDRw5-v9bIMt2V-q9VOx1fRk5UFeFyu3-8L2kZliE4RJF4ff29RE1MlmIErHM3jSRvJrpKf2IpUNdak3tuSpw-/s400/100_3037.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575064481601133698" /></a></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-53344196251603329772011-02-14T10:16:00.000-08:002016-11-09T21:35:14.758-08:00Fishing<div style="text-align: center;">My Dad has been taking Caleb fishing every few weekends for the past while and he loves it. Natalie on the other hand cries that she can't go so finally Grandpa took her :) She was sooo excited and out of the 4 or 5 people there she caught this fish all by herself! It was the largest one of the day. As you can see she was very dirty and very thirsty. We cooked up the fish that night and ate it with some rice for dinner. Good times aye?</div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK0NsVIc_9ZtS2zwal_C7n0Vot5ySvmsJHHjQ-taWcvdKSRBKGS1EDczG1SgeoxjpwIO60Le9xHBsolH_ErZ8dYn8u9gmb_3iyZB5Om9TYSpQUYYABP56cnG7H8_xc14zHFEdWOxMLzfDT/s320/100_3064.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573611411572234162" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz7b9qotmzqA-6mbWip9BktpmEh881Abx7M6pkXmB_jplsPte-QZ4H3pZej06sJGjUqOB1-QQ-RwFg_2ADOwBGfiwARJfAzi6jkY6v8iVN6kW_fqr9GwFyrxVtX3428alxXQPW5KG7U9MB/s320/100_3066.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573611415463276098" />Jonah wasn't sure he wanted to touch the fist but I think Nikki made him LOL. My Dr was going out of town and Jonah was already so big so the Dr decided to take him 9 days early. I called a friend who was due 3 days after me and told her I was being induce the next day.... Well I can only say what I think, and don't tell her :)....But I think someone was a little competitive and didn't want to be the last one pregnant. So she induced her labor and our boys were born on the same day! Aren't they cute! I'm not sure why Jonah has no pants on but I'm pretty sure he wasn't feeling up to par that day. I love little babies :) </div></div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-3096404643496880402010-10-02T14:41:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.779-08:00Boys Will Be Boys<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL3JRVobK7NRaRnCQ_GTSx0Yn-PH0vU38SHTKRFl60qWbPAlCzCz5orClr3JW5s8NNEGRp6oDp6JeWACZIdZP63hgEwgZLRnlnfVpGy6_koRsl5ic4Z6NXrRKQtwsU2OHO9JdJgnzhCrWI/s1600/Boys.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 324px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524776015369027890" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL3JRVobK7NRaRnCQ_GTSx0Yn-PH0vU38SHTKRFl60qWbPAlCzCz5orClr3JW5s8NNEGRp6oDp6JeWACZIdZP63hgEwgZLRnlnfVpGy6_koRsl5ic4Z6NXrRKQtwsU2OHO9JdJgnzhCrWI/s400/Boys.JPG" /></a>Caleb loves the rodeo and when they came into town the end of May he just had to go. I hate the rodeo (and actually had a massive allergy attack and couldn't breathe when I tried to go to the rodeo this September) so Josh took Caleb. They had a boys night out and ate hot dogs and watched the rodeo until Caleb couldn't keep his eyes open.<br /><br /><div><div>I have such fun handsome boys in my family and I know I don't tell them enough that I love them! </div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-87128652860242699362010-08-02T12:41:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.788-08:00Caleb's 4th birthday<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5500904663288848066" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmmrQ2hpTDOFjEXnqXvHhFWBFYqRan0zB4JjbGmYFpDpZb77NDMJGVcvoPfkVV-nO9sPBdF-DX3yrWPrZyqAbNvB23sbm0-1DkfMp2eJJYNnC913OJ5M-vimW_rLTOF8k0uRZcSBmAB191/s320/110_0871.jpg" />I can't believe Caleb is 4! time really does fly. I remember like it was yesterday when I was wishing that he could talk so he could tell me everything he was thinking :) And sure enough he does just that now. For Caleb's actual birthday Josh and I took the family to the store and bought him a bike! then we went to eat and then to the park to let him test out his new bike.<br /><div><p align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLhs3Lq97Jn49mguyG6anIIuICL7uYKJjJMuNkscLbBdaPx5gTGAO3d9fySE-uhimLpDGMNhMYwaiBxrZayIxrbgbiRZ8gfG6QUoDYrP1LzoL1TrzfebYOwjXOXIaHxxLxFI9PAa968Gbo/s1600/110_0894.jpg"><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwa6b9H0fH5Ak2ix2ZJD8mefvT_Ccy7FDkw62cFPdUsIhpCyYAHH9bsxVMxkalvzRizriKnTqwJ1uBJ_mAVlA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></a>He actually rode it very well but this is the only video I captured. Caleb is so big everyone thinks he is going to start <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Kindergarten</span>, but we still have another year :( We stayed at the park for a couple of hours and then went home where Caleb STILL wanted to ride his bike. After a bit of riding Caleb came in crying with his first, of what I assume will be many, bike crash wounds. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5500908977590421730" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLhs3Lq97Jn49mguyG6anIIuICL7uYKJjJMuNkscLbBdaPx5gTGAO3d9fySE-uhimLpDGMNhMYwaiBxrZayIxrbgbiRZ8gfG6QUoDYrP1LzoL1TrzfebYOwjXOXIaHxxLxFI9PAa968Gbo/s320/110_0894.jpg" /> Now I realize that this is Caleb's birthday post but I didn't feel like it would be complete without posting his picture of Natalie. On the way to eat we were singing Happy Birthday to Caleb and the first time around Natalie sang and was happy but then she yelled "Do Nanny" and we said "No it's Caleb's birthday we'll sing to you on your birthday" She got so upset and looked like this the rest of the time :)<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5500928499901957442" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlJOSCa4lCmeped7Wfk9Hju4VprQRZPUd3H4qY_PMonVJgahKWzXqodtRAHgRSQROj02ywI7AJqjAA-RWw48ACzpmpF7RiQnrVIaCC_-C-ZWzdlzgh8j3EyIuBKYvUK4Mzq5RrqB4QsrIe/s320/110_0870.jpg" /></p></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-40684827770166686722010-07-27T21:02:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.797-08:00Bugs Bugs Bugs!<div align="center">Every Wednesday my wards Mom's gets together at a choice park. I've only been able to go to one but it was so fun. 3 of my closest friends were there also with all of their kids. Caleb played for a while at the playground but then he decided that watching is friend <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">Destin</span> catch bugs over by some big trees was more fun. When it was time to go the boys came over and Caleb said something about bugs and that he was catching them. I asked "Caleb where are the bugs you caught?" and he said "In my pocket!" <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">LOL</span> I was like <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">ummm</span> <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">ok</span> you need to put them back. He cried and cried so I told him to put them in a bag I had and we could keep them til after nap time then we would relocate them to a tree by our house. </div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">Well.... we had both boys start taking them out of their pockets and they just kept coming and coming and coming. The boys also said that their shirts itched. Each boy had about 6 or more <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">caterpillars</span> in their shirts! I guess they had crawled up from their pockets and up their shirts and they didn't even notice :) Needless to say I was about to wet myself and could not control my laughter. </div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">When we got home I put them in a container so I could count them out. Final count..........53! I could not believe that 53 <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">caterpillars</span> fit it two l<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">ittle</span> boys pockets. I cannot believe how fast time has flown by. He is so cute, his favorite show right now is Thundercats. Which is a show that Josh used to watch when he was younger. He puts a sword in the air and yells at the top of his lungs "Thunder, thunder, thundercats Hooooooooo!" or he puts the sword to his head and says "Sword of Omens give me sight beyond sight." </div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">He also is just caring about everyone especially his family. He loves to kiss booboo's better and he loves to play with Natalie and Jonah. When Natalie wakes up from a nap he always yells "Nanny you woke up!" then runs to her and gives her a hug like he hasn't seen her in years :) </div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">We rode a train Saturday in Vegas and they had train robbers come on the train. The good people chased the bad people outside and proceeded to have a gun fight. While the fighting was going on Caleb was standing next to this little boy who had his own fake gun and Caleb hit him in the shoulder and said "SHOOT THEM!" :) I love him<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2ngmXE4DW4EksmALBoqKhFTzxcc0yigOKYkHyJYE5Ni7qSM9qJOqFpnGrJci31QFMOXwrIZ6nx0d4oWXRHbDrMlqRmj7bYSCEgrVi741zZzxmv51fZGU4xhokeSHD2YgjKK27yDmDbVAL/s1600/110_0759.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456752962456759730" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2ngmXE4DW4EksmALBoqKhFTzxcc0yigOKYkHyJYE5Ni7qSM9qJOqFpnGrJci31QFMOXwrIZ6nx0d4oWXRHbDrMlqRmj7bYSCEgrVi741zZzxmv51fZGU4xhokeSHD2YgjKK27yDmDbVAL/s320/110_0759.jpg" /></a></div><div align="center">My gorgeous Natalie loves to be naked! I can't keep clothes on her. She tells me they are uncomfortable and the next thing I know her clothes are OFF. She'll also walk through every puddle she sees. She loves cars and blankets and Wall-e the movie. She loves Jonah and told me this morning "Mommy, Jonah loves me" :) Yesterday during conference a speaker had mentioned how important it was that a child knew who Jesus was and that they could recognize him. I know Caleb knows Jesus but I didn't know if Nat did. I picked her up and showed her a picture on the wall and said "Who's that?" and she said "Jesus" although it came out "Degus" :) Also we were talking about the prophet and Nat started singing "Fahwo the profet fahwo the profet he knows way" I've never taught her that song and it was so great to hear her sing it and to know that she learns things in nursery.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgo6J0jjuEWpsPVH1PLQruTm6xdIrgpjCwYVnNYo_vuBh-rpkxwelRzAEYnFfx3bFRRAcdkHr1eec0AsHfAZhVaU32wWJ0kGq7y3Lel67Ow6oyuQo5FOFUTZ1lKvJq9bi_LKMYQXxhj-um/s1600/110_0775.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456752983532560146" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgo6J0jjuEWpsPVH1PLQruTm6xdIrgpjCwYVnNYo_vuBh-rpkxwelRzAEYnFfx3bFRRAcdkHr1eec0AsHfAZhVaU32wWJ0kGq7y3Lel67Ow6oyuQo5FOFUTZ1lKvJq9bi_LKMYQXxhj-um/s320/110_0775.jpg" /></a></div><div align="center"><br />Jonah Jonah what do I say about you :) You are so cute and cuddly. He loves to eat! He can't sit up yet but he loves puffs and rice cereal. Yesterday I was eating a Kit Kat and he pulled it out of my hand and shoved it in his mouth. I had to wrestle it back from him. He has an amazing grip on him for a 5 month old. Jonah loves to smile and loves his siblings. He especially loves to talk. When everyone is quiet he will jabber on for an hour. He doesn't sleep through the night but he is such a good and happy baby. </div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-68398238024000032402010-01-07T08:55:00.000-08:002016-11-09T21:35:14.819-08:00December 20th<p align="center"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dxi4C5Coce_FJDpDfot3KwLJGbQarWwHn96cZma1Dcz1F-m1LdM9y9E9MEnbpgpqguzLNntqp9W0T8aFvo-Nw' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></p><p align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIFG-Oz2_kmROAs7R1RacGOi_QyjC1nuzeNiL1buBZboLdieqiILnAropc3XpF6AHcEqRET3OLYPiPUYshVDTlj5X_nVeJD1wYong3F8ucVUAWIVlrYp4r6NYXSyrHgLL4d9w_plOpZNRu/s1600-h/111_0297.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424045537620205570" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIFG-Oz2_kmROAs7R1RacGOi_QyjC1nuzeNiL1buBZboLdieqiILnAropc3XpF6AHcEqRET3OLYPiPUYshVDTlj5X_nVeJD1wYong3F8ucVUAWIVlrYp4r6NYXSyrHgLL4d9w_plOpZNRu/s320/111_0297.jpg" /></a>Natalie, otherwise known as Atalie to her family and close friends :) turned 2 on the 20th of December. She is talking so much and like I said she calls herself Atalie. She can't say the 'N'. Since the 20th was a Sunday we decided to go to church (I've been ditching since it's hard for me to sit on the chairs for more than 15 minutes) so Nat could go to nursery. There they made her a really nice Birthday crown that she loved to wear.</p><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgratpPyWHbQiz9QqxfuexKeBjaRPCtNQiwN68kqKUUpKjIOSTS7g5qOEEOuTdPghLO1xmEAXRS5dZ5-Re1xlTd3uP8s5n0JHWjLDfYxgh2vCnQnA7THgWkdUEyzWbrYNZk5ZTpO8Aglp68/s1600-h/000_0020.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424044968694564994" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgratpPyWHbQiz9QqxfuexKeBjaRPCtNQiwN68kqKUUpKjIOSTS7g5qOEEOuTdPghLO1xmEAXRS5dZ5-Re1xlTd3uP8s5n0JHWjLDfYxgh2vCnQnA7THgWkdUEyzWbrYNZk5ZTpO8Aglp68/s320/000_0020.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div align="center">Josh insisted I make the birthday cake. A month has flown by so fast. The kids are getting so big, Jonah has been gaining 2 ounces a day so in the past 2 weeks he's gained 2 pounds and is now over 10 lbs! He is such a good baby he hardly cries and he is so fun to have around. He did get his first ear infection and we're still dealing with some yucky after effects from it but other than his spitting up and incessant pig like snorting all through the night we love him to pieces.<br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-cePWSWoR_HKyxNotAWxAI2p9Vn4GrIipWByBv903T6VeL3inlsu8cdlxiJp1hRmCuGeY7Bzbjk3B13xRL1iA5OT7uNN0aHgKcBf8XcbkrfXdLZsi5U0c6MjXdQMAf5fhID_18-l5VN_/s1600-h/111_0176.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5414021346646611554" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-cePWSWoR_HKyxNotAWxAI2p9Vn4GrIipWByBv903T6VeL3inlsu8cdlxiJp1hRmCuGeY7Bzbjk3B13xRL1iA5OT7uNN0aHgKcBf8XcbkrfXdLZsi5U0c6MjXdQMAf5fhID_18-l5VN_/s200/111_0176.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><div>Natalie is very interested in Potty Training I'm just not sure I'm ready to start this process all over again! She is very opinionated and will only let me put her in dresses, if I try to put pants on her she screams and yells 'No Pants' LOL. She is starting to speak in bigger sentences and her words are coming everyday. She'll ask 'What's that?' or just this morning she ask Josh 'What are you reading?' and when you tell her she'll copy the word and smile really big. </div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpHyo8HTam1NfbEh894elvZs7pVB9LOh2WbhxK60eMYRTnZQvDqX4rJBUMOpZhr0o-W2XC3nO-eC7QB7s7D0zodRtMxyhQAfpOdMv7FAdQYVlCKHi4_5KhUn8xJKSRNyDrlTqHMkUPZghS/s1600-h/111_0221.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5414021362408530066" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpHyo8HTam1NfbEh894elvZs7pVB9LOh2WbhxK60eMYRTnZQvDqX4rJBUMOpZhr0o-W2XC3nO-eC7QB7s7D0zodRtMxyhQAfpOdMv7FAdQYVlCKHi4_5KhUn8xJKSRNyDrlTqHMkUPZghS/s200/111_0221.jpg" border="0" /></a>Natalie was eating waffles and decided that she couldn't let any of the syrup go to waste :) I love it</div><br /><div></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjnhZTwXxuaNOVBzG92uiVWjLhMWl7mDftJ4j8j_zrS40Vx3rjRnRerpXlkhpfbtTcTkqapBrwRBiDfWmD5FCZkRVKFBKNE2LxxnO9fmEmch1jf0HUo31-tbW6jJX5DhFZe1RWFzqaxo0F/s1600-h/111_0214.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5412548847637825746" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjnhZTwXxuaNOVBzG92uiVWjLhMWl7mDftJ4j8j_zrS40Vx3rjRnRerpXlkhpfbtTcTkqapBrwRBiDfWmD5FCZkRVKFBKNE2LxxnO9fmEmch1jf0HUo31-tbW6jJX5DhFZe1RWFzqaxo0F/s200/111_0214.jpg" border="0" /></a>In this picture is my cousins' daughter but since I love my Julie like she is my sister my kids just call her 'Aunt' so this is just their 'cousin' hehehe<br /></div><div></div><div></div><div> </div><br /><div>Caleb is still amazing us everyday with the things he is absorbing. For example he just told me "Mom, eggs are fragile". He picks up everything around him from all sorts of places. I found a website that offers a 9 month preschool curriculum and I'm thinking about purchasing it for Caleb to do here at home I just hate spending money on somehting that I'm not totally certain of but I do know that he needs something more to stimulate his already super smart noggin :) Some of these pictures I've posted are of Caleb holding his siblings hands. He is always wanting to hold the kids hands or kiss them and protect them I hope that continues and that they'll always know they can go to their big brother for anything and everything. And I hope they know that no matter what happens to them in life and no matter what they choose we are a forever family and we'll figure everything out together. </div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnKOSzItt0ijcfG8o1kr4Orm_DdRoMpqAgXVg9741bIIvZlBm0PNfTfvJB8VLpO4k9Dk2erxIRFu0sg5HLNY8Wb8fZqwun3qBEs1yCF1720Gdgt1DOCZh6c6ZBi9XggoX3QpDrVlb_VK6b/s1600-h/111_0201.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5412548839668335090" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnKOSzItt0ijcfG8o1kr4Orm_DdRoMpqAgXVg9741bIIvZlBm0PNfTfvJB8VLpO4k9Dk2erxIRFu0sg5HLNY8Wb8fZqwun3qBEs1yCF1720Gdgt1DOCZh6c6ZBi9XggoX3QpDrVlb_VK6b/s200/111_0201.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ1uvLLKEu64DUV9Q2frLVIqEy6lPwI-50m2eYTxFtAkLh0TGhCnbOlv7sVcsbcob1c1IcE03gllG0ImH_o_Z9RG1zZ2mZj2gj5-liHUfg-dN201LK3zmlODvY4WoYUbrzCe_klnYZQFx8/s1600-h/111_0188.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5412548827124890242" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ1uvLLKEu64DUV9Q2frLVIqEy6lPwI-50m2eYTxFtAkLh0TGhCnbOlv7sVcsbcob1c1IcE03gllG0ImH_o_Z9RG1zZ2mZj2gj5-liHUfg-dN201LK3zmlODvY4WoYUbrzCe_klnYZQFx8/s200/111_0188.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><br /><div><br />The day we found out that we were having Jonah Josh decided we needed a bunk bed and needed to paint right away. But as time got closer I decided to brave the ride and go. I had so much fun. Granny didn't know I was coming until we arrived at midnight and she woke up to my kids running around her house playing with toys. We had a lot of fun with various Aunts and Uncles stopping by to visit and such. I made breakfast one day and Caleb said he wanted a purple Mickey Mouse pancake so I made him one, and yes I know I have NO pancake skills. Also I'm not sure you can tell or not but in the other picture of a pan is a whole dozen of DOUBLE YOLKED EGGS! So we could wait to go into labor on our own like I wanted to and risk him not being here or we could go in and be induced. The hospital was full on Monday so we scheduled the induction for Tuesday. We were third on the list so we were thinking we'd get a call around 10....um they called at 6 AM!!! We hopped out of bed and frantically made the last minute plans/preparations and ran straight to the hospital.<br /></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>They wanted to break my water right away but Jonah's head was really really high and they didn't want the cord to slip out and then have to do a c-section so we started pitocin at 8:45 and broke water later around 1:00. </div><div> </div><div></div><div>I stood up a lot during this labor and it's a good thing I did because Jonah had a bigger head than normal babies and so he wasn't coming down the birth canal very well. I just don't even know where to start for my labor story so I guess I'll just say that it hurt like nothing I've even felt before and I'm so glad that I was able to let go of my "I can do it myself" approach to dealing with pain and let Josh help me. He was the best coach ANYONE could ever have. He did the breathing with me and whispered words of encouragement to me and did whatever I needed him too. Even assisting in delivering the baby even though he wasn't sure he wanted too. (The Dr was yelled at him to get back over to me after I gave birth and deliver the placenta too but he escaped since he had to take pictures of the baby LOL). </div><div> </div><div></div><div>I knew I was really really sore after I had the baby but I think I had so much adrenaline and endorphins running amok in my body that I didn't realize that my tail bone was sore for about an hour. I had a really rough night and didn't want to complain but when the day nurse came in to find me standing up eating my breakfast she deduced that I didn't bruise my tail bone but broke it and decided to take drastic measures. I was given a Motrin and offered a Loritab which I took after the pain wasn't letting up. When the DR came I told him how I was feeling and he told me while delivering he heard a POP but since I didn't complain and was up walking around he didn't say anything either. LOL you probably had to be there but I've been giggling about that comment since he said it. </div><div> </div><div></div><div>It's been hard being home but I couldn't take the hospital I missed my family and my home. I'm so lucky to have such a great support from all my friends and family they have already been such a huge help over the past few days and even the past few weeks. I'm going to bed now Love you all :)</div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-60195339933494798552009-10-21T07:16:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.848-08:00Nat in the Box<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvxdKccHFYxexYDWjG0M73dQjsJP0cczfORkqQHgX64iNb16TB3vSlrLFnINb1CyDBrUKER-ZPnEo8kR8d_-allePc8j0pBrimBpPj0tpdOKqcVb0IYnHeJTRiahtUm9liG7zGXAWjWaqk/s1600-h/DSCN3868.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 239px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5392575428234086882" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvxdKccHFYxexYDWjG0M73dQjsJP0cczfORkqQHgX64iNb16TB3vSlrLFnINb1CyDBrUKER-ZPnEo8kR8d_-allePc8j0pBrimBpPj0tpdOKqcVb0IYnHeJTRiahtUm9liG7zGXAWjWaqk/s320/DSCN3868.JPG" /></a> During Conference weekend I took advantage of Josh being home and there being no meetings to get some cleaning and organizing done. While cleaning I got done with a box of refillable baby wipes and Natalie decided that she needed it as a vehicle. She spent a frustrated few minutes trying to get into it herself before Daddy helped her into it. Then the fun began.<br /><div><br /></div><p align="center"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dzDL5b6CHv2hwi9O2wSzPbQ-6y8-MA9Q6xJie9UT2rPmUffnsSCWepNJixv2j9bKC6jWBR6Ops9i5miq3CUpw' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></p><br /><div>It started out with Caleb pushing Natalie then Daddy decided to turn her into a race car driver. Guess that's what happens when you grow up in a housefull of boys :) Not that there is anything wrong with that.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>The kids love Josh so much. He's been sick for a few days so he took a couple hours off on Thursday and all day Friday and a couple hours yesterday because of it! Both kids have been loving it, the minute they see Josh they are wanting to wrestle and jump on him. I don't know how he's going to handle it when he has THREE kids jumping on him. Good thing he's still young enough to handle it. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Natalie has been praying lately. We've been trying to say family prayer at least once a day and when we say "time for prayer" Natalie will fold her arms and start saying "Heavnie Fafer, tank too da da day, bess daddy, mommy, men...." Hehehehe It's super cute we love it! </div><div> </div><div><br /> </div><div>She's been scared of the dark lately too. If the light is off in a room she REFUSES to go into it. She'll stand at the edge of the light and yell "uh-oh Mommy, uh-oh" until someone comes and turns the light on then she'll go in. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div><div></div><div>She's also quite the opinionated and whiny little girl! She doesn't like to let anyone tell her what to do and she will punch you, literally, if she doesn't like whatever you did. Now, whenever they find tape in the house they ask for a piece...LOL.</p><p>Nat loves clothes and shoes all I have to say is "Natalie I have some pretty clothes for you" and she'll come running from wherever she is to put whatever I have on. She does love cars and legos though so hopefully she's well rounded enough not to be too prissy. I'm excited to see how she interacts with this new baby. I'm sure there will be some rough times but I think she's excited for him/her. </p>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-34223093369336343562009-10-01T07:36:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.857-08:00Lettuce Eat!!!So with five weeks left to go the race is on to get everything done on my list. I've managed to cross about 2 things off but still have a mountain of tasks I would like to have done before this new bundle of joy comes. It's funny how in terms of having the baby and see him/her 5 weeks is taking FOREVER, but when I start concentrating on getting things accomplished it seems like time is slipping away.....Somethings not right here.<br /><br />I'm starting to freak out about how to be a mother of three. I know I did the same thing before Natalie came and it worked out, I'm just concerned that I'm going to lose what little sanity I have left :) It's all worth it right???<br /><br /><p>My kids are notorious for waking up early early in the morning. So I use the electronic babysitter or boob tube to substitute for me so I can catch a few more minutes of disturbed sleep on the couch next to them. I actually fell asleep for about a half hour and when I woke up I found the kids had helped themselves to a little breakfast. LOL. </p><br /><p align="center"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwQaMyI0hhQ4G-0phw4hnJw_gSbGTv3jHh_uP-sv8j2xVLtqk5appXKgEE6FE5YP8h0WoAY_APeSULEGcu8hg' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></p><p align="left">At least they made healthy choices and were sharing! I love my kids. I just hope this baby number 3 fits right in with these too lunatics :)</p>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-76658781527259852072009-09-18T08:10:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.867-08:00Catching up<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo3aZlYrt5uTU6taDwSHUR4Jx_j5Gog-rMtzxp1p0R9HdcQgR6PYdjtu3cs7jjhIBR7JBPd9xSJ4gXgktStNBHpG5nmWV8UGu2_gy8mYBaVOxAOgyvwzo2BRqWPAipMeDAfcAMk9tM872X/s1600-h/DSCN3840.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5382842833557264018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 239px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo3aZlYrt5uTU6taDwSHUR4Jx_j5Gog-rMtzxp1p0R9HdcQgR6PYdjtu3cs7jjhIBR7JBPd9xSJ4gXgktStNBHpG5nmWV8UGu2_gy8mYBaVOxAOgyvwzo2BRqWPAipMeDAfcAMk9tM872X/s320/DSCN3840.JPG" border="0" /></a> I try not to post many pictures of my foster children (and yes I've had 4 now so I can use the plural) because of confidentiality reasons but Karrie is now gone. Since this is my journal basically I decided I was going to put her on here. When we told her she was moving homes she was upset that she had to leave Natalie, that's the only thing she worried about. Everyday after school Karrie still comes to our car and her and Natalie squeal at each other. I love how Natalie looks in this picture!<br /><br />So with Karrie gone we now have Tisha. Maybe I will post a pic another time. So far so good with this transition. She is quite mellow and very cute. She is 13 going on 14 in November. We look forward to getting to know her and hopefully making a difference in her life and ours.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNemMPxjX_OyI4wLmAY6xa9XQJzahIQlsMjce5PZUPgt0nmdOi6Kbu93ML0aaVqCe1wKbbNMhyphenhyphenT-3klCnzQSXYk64S4aEBLsZDwclZDB1N-usOUnvC8JbwxYf8Wx4zswN35JR-FJlqIDBo/s1600-h/DSCN3833.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5382842824729654578" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 239px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNemMPxjX_OyI4wLmAY6xa9XQJzahIQlsMjce5PZUPgt0nmdOi6Kbu93ML0aaVqCe1wKbbNMhyphenhyphenT-3klCnzQSXYk64S4aEBLsZDwclZDB1N-usOUnvC8JbwxYf8Wx4zswN35JR-FJlqIDBo/s320/DSCN3833.JPG" border="0" /></a> This month we have had a lot of changes in our neighborhood. Two of our neighbors and their children moved away. So the kids lost 5 friends :( Everyday they still ask for their friends. This is a picture after Karrie braided most of the girls hair. After she was done doing the girls hair ALL the boys wanted their hair done. LOL. Josh was not too please but Caleb loved it and asked her to do it the next day too.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDfzgdbLChLH2d0FWZczNqI023UBF4USEankHxVnBIwrWdmb_xbD2MRBWxqXdoyEuTqkjOMI6FX-6V5jSik7PSFJgrTwbx7u1SWcECvZ0kBT_KlL4htFQ_qj4ZuIOwNp29e0bgFFU23BE2/s1600-h/DSCN3843.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5382842813930404690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 239px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDfzgdbLChLH2d0FWZczNqI023UBF4USEankHxVnBIwrWdmb_xbD2MRBWxqXdoyEuTqkjOMI6FX-6V5jSik7PSFJgrTwbx7u1SWcECvZ0kBT_KlL4htFQ_qj4ZuIOwNp29e0bgFFU23BE2/s320/DSCN3843.JPG" border="0" /></a> While Caleb was playing with his cape being a super hero he hurt Natalie. I asked him to come over and say sorry and give her kisses and when he did he said "It's OK Natalie, Batman's here." I couldn't stop laughing, this kid cracks me up everyday. </div><div> </div><div></div><div>In other news I quit my daycare. I still do occasional sitting for a friend but it's only sporadically and it's for like 4 hours at a time. It's a little boring at times but it's nice to be with just my kids and be able to leave the house anytime I want. Yea!</div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-69473425067913108582009-08-18T20:05:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.877-08:00Happy Birthday To Me!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRC3-eXK4rxski57PTQOT9WUlaJsuT0b93_sDV-UrhIc__cjIJS7NkNQXyoU9oOQw3LLD88FpWoRPHGEbxtlEllwWmn5QQWgTEAa7DLsRr3w1qsYi8MYSzrCaPkuPFrCbiGdStdd8VFe-N/s1600-h/DSCN3777.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371677307157314674" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 299px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRC3-eXK4rxski57PTQOT9WUlaJsuT0b93_sDV-UrhIc__cjIJS7NkNQXyoU9oOQw3LLD88FpWoRPHGEbxtlEllwWmn5QQWgTEAa7DLsRr3w1qsYi8MYSzrCaPkuPFrCbiGdStdd8VFe-N/s400/DSCN3777.JPG" border="0" /></a> So today I turned the big 2-5! Although, Caleb says I am 3 like him. I guess in a way my life did start over when I had him but I don't think that counts hehehe. My day started out with my baby girl, who has been waking up everynight at 4:30, sleeping straight until 8! (We had a heart to heart the night before and I explained to her that it was my birthday and she couldn't wake me up.) Josh got up with Karrie and got her off to school. I got up and showered and got the kids in the bath when Josh came back and had bought us McDonalds breakfast! I was excited and so were the kids. <div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371683013494976130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHrO9aMvqDfTAINoD_d_x4i6qSr8EXAn5DkddvzfjMLpNzmxbQBRJXS_17we9BKvNspV_R_zM1FJa9EgzAeXkTa4TMO7GADXbhzKJqFq5AKveYIoRrexZICTcTCaJiHE0mBsSkW0qSPxet/s320/Breakfast.jpg" border="0" />When Nat came down and saw the breakfast she freaked out and scarfed everything in her sight. See her mouth is so full she can't even smile, apparently she loves hasbrowns and pancakes. (please note my newly cleaned, sparlking and almost glowing fish tank in the background. It took me all day to clean it!)<br /><br />Josh got off around 11 so I was able to go to the spa and get a massage! I haven't laid on my stomach in weeks I LOVED it. While I was gone Josh took the kids on a ride. When he came home he was on a work phone call so when I looked out the door and saw my poor babies in the car I came out to get them. Josh JUMPED out of the car and put up his had to stop me from getting any closer. He let Caleb out and he came running too me and said...." Mommmmmmmy! We got you a present AND a cake with strawberries!" LOL just then Josh was bringing a sleeping Natalie to me and he rolled his eyes and said "I guess it's not a secret anymore." hehehe Gotta love kids. Below is a picture of the cake Josh designed and had the store make for me. Karrie says he is the new 'Cake Boss'. It was a chocolate cake with chocolate and strawberries in the middle, and strawberries on the top. It was DELICIOUS! <div><div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIZfuBSiNUQbwXglyk4nRUkLv2jRsaEN8G5K84OxUD79ak2aLQbY_0A-ZQ19f1hwG-DCDCaDUTAi2FEUQqS-PPNNBo-XbxMbra6zxIioPW4S2xrrYfWGnNQ9Qhulj5CmVIFlWLqrcD9Sdx/s1600-h/DSCN3775.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371668499458200002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 239px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIZfuBSiNUQbwXglyk4nRUkLv2jRsaEN8G5K84OxUD79ak2aLQbY_0A-ZQ19f1hwG-DCDCaDUTAi2FEUQqS-PPNNBo-XbxMbra6zxIioPW4S2xrrYfWGnNQ9Qhulj5CmVIFlWLqrcD9Sdx/s320/DSCN3775.JPG" border="0" /></a> After Josh's phone call was done we sat and watched TV until 3:30 when Sarah came to babysit. Josh and I then went to the Temple and did sealings and then went to Samurai 21 with Tristan and Kori. Man we have some great people in our lives. When we came home we ate cake with the kids and just hung out until bed time. Josh also bought me way too many presents. I got the King of Queens season 2, Taylor Swift and Billy Currington CD's, cards, and a pretty necklace with 5 of my birthstones in it to represent the 5 people in our family. (Karrie is a little camera shy and I'm still not sure if I am allowed to post her pic on here....)<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371668520588159266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 239px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihA88MgYeD77nje8e-QiflNbC2IUZaw4wfsJLPYcEi7ekS-eysyPwfKcHcrCFJhJcG1Z2w-OrmKr0OWE0zgWK1WbKaWx8aQxj-lJFMMdYInC7enNDX-TDPJ2SQE9DYO9U_xKo5PJBF1PiX/s320/DSCN3780.JPG" border="0" /> I truly did have the best birthday I have ever had. My family and my FABULOUS friends tried hard to make it a special and fun day for me and it turned out just that way. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes, songs and loves, except for Stacy cuz she forgot my birthday all together.....don't worry I forgive you :) I'm not sure how you guys will ever top it but i'm looking forward to finding out. Love you all - Christy</div></div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-19195561842414152052009-08-12T11:00:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.886-08:00My Big 'SMART' Boy :)I have been trying to potty train Caleb since he showed interest at 18 months. He does fabulous at telling me when he has to go potty or just going by himself but for the LIFE OF ME I cannot get him to poo on the toilet. I have tried bribing him with everything imaginable but no matter what when i put him on the toilet he'll just scream bloody murder and frantically ask me to put a pull up on him.<br /><br />Lately, he's just been telling me that it's 'way scary' and that's why he won't do it. I've tried toilet seat covers, little potties, big potties, and the latest suggestion was presents. I showed Caleb what the presents were before I covered them up and he is so excited for them but he still will not go on the toilet. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Anywho</span>, yesterday my Dad came back from Russia and came over yesterday to give Caleb a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">souvenir</span>. After he left Caleb ran the batteries out of the toy, literally, and was eating lunch when he turned and said to me "Mommy, I LOVE my new present......(then said in an sing song voice and a big smile on his face).....and I didn't have to poop for it!"<br /><br />I'm still giggling over it.Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-28848387548458188082009-08-07T08:46:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.897-08:00Nat's Adventures Part 1<div align="center"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwynVI7l0qNixASlETVvx0D55hheMjtTypmXOvmvPb_6_xFylj963gtMWQ78AAN-yhBYyjHVuPcvW3nZEwz_w' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br /></div><div align="center">Natalie usually sits on the edge of the pool when we go swimming but just recently we have had to watch her really close because she'll just jump in when no one is looking. Life just isn't the same without it! I'm not sure where to even begin! LOL. Lets start with the new baby. Last wednesday Josh and I had an ultrasound and found the baby to be a bit bigger than we expected so my due date was moved from November 15th to November 9th. I was quite excited about that. I have been concerned about the health of this baby for some reason but so far between blood work and the ultrasound things are looking good. Maybe it's just that I've had two healthy pregnancies and births so maybe this one won't be the same. Guess we'll find out soon! Maybe we'll have a Halloween baby instead. Oh yes I opted not to find out what the baby is. I believe it's a boy but I do not know for sure. Josh says he swears he knows because he watched the tech's screen when I wasn't allowed to look but I think he's lying. :)</div><div align="center"><br /></div><p align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkhMDGnvhjajB0LcN6m9T1CRIZM2auIS5gbJL4RYvLCffQWlUocbPZJUOyNUIZf3Jm-_h9MXmDa_hyphenhyphenhsYireJ5xDjX4ZTqgeGrpG88vdPKEk_vL2G5F2R9teClTL-VXRHvuqw_ryLhGP6f/s1600-h/DSCN3590.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351031188148292050" style="WIDTH: 239px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkhMDGnvhjajB0LcN6m9T1CRIZM2auIS5gbJL4RYvLCffQWlUocbPZJUOyNUIZf3Jm-_h9MXmDa_hyphenhyphenhsYireJ5xDjX4ZTqgeGrpG88vdPKEk_vL2G5F2R9teClTL-VXRHvuqw_ryLhGP6f/s320/DSCN3590.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center">Natalie has sure grown up sooo much, not her hair though. Caleb still has more and we just cut his, poor girl. She is definitely total opposite of Caleb. She's already learned how to climb everything inside the house and outside. She's very opinionated and has quite a temper. The other day when we were outside playing I told her no for some reason and she threw herself on the cement and proceeded to roll around screaming. Just after this started she stopped got up and walked over the the middle of the grass to lay down and then finished her fit! hehehehe. Also she has an obsession with shoes and will put anybody's shoes on all day long. She had on one of her shoes and Caleb had one of his and he decided to hit her on the head with his shoe. While I was telling Caleb that that was inappropriate and he needed to go to time out Natalie took the shoe in her hand and clobbered Caleb in the nose with it. I let the whole scene go and neither of them have done it again. </div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxsSW50CHc3_37X6f6mT0GmfsOftts4vD7hZ05tw_j0gp5-ZmIUhqIhB7sS3B3OFOIDk0E6x9VGDQCsZ1-CFiXVvBclY8n78vV8HB_NJy521vuu5LW0qMnwuquMZLy-xRk0tDhbzbdZUuq/s1600-h/DSCN3119-1.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351031183776624034" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 239px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxsSW50CHc3_37X6f6mT0GmfsOftts4vD7hZ05tw_j0gp5-ZmIUhqIhB7sS3B3OFOIDk0E6x9VGDQCsZ1-CFiXVvBclY8n78vV8HB_NJy521vuu5LW0qMnwuquMZLy-xRk0tDhbzbdZUuq/s320/DSCN3119-1.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center">Caleb is obsessed with Tinkerbell the movie right now. He dances to the music with his hands above his head spinning like a ballerina. It's soooo funny/cute. He also is a musical genius. He's starting to sing to every song on the radio even if he's only heard it a couple times. But in this family did anyone really think my kids wouldn't be musical! (except for Natalie, she loves to sing but can't carry a tune in a bucket) He really is growing so fast. I always recite that Trace Adkins song named "You're Gonna Miss This" or something like that to Josh. In the picture Caleb is flossing his teeth, he's always insisting that he do everything by himself. For example just now I went upstairs and when I came down he was going to the bathroom by himself! Which is good but we're just not to that stage yet!</div><div align="center"><br /></div><p align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwleVP7r__v3XTTCNC6sI1dG19o-z7EF__UM9IxEzQM30RRTqe2MyJv75aKmzBmcOCiramwqFdTi4_zlPEdgI2bogUIxymlhRz_CTEevwedCpq4PsOcuhOdxfixnVnnp3wcyykUdrkeHOc/s1600-h/DSCN3550.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351031180543732626" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 239px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwleVP7r__v3XTTCNC6sI1dG19o-z7EF__UM9IxEzQM30RRTqe2MyJv75aKmzBmcOCiramwqFdTi4_zlPEdgI2bogUIxymlhRz_CTEevwedCpq4PsOcuhOdxfixnVnnp3wcyykUdrkeHOc/s320/DSCN3550.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><div align="center"><br /></div><p align="center">Josh and I are just pluggin along. Josh is back in school and is finishing up his last few credits to get his Associates Degree. We are so proud of him, he gets up and goes to school before 7 in the morning Monday-Thursday and then goes to work and on Monday and Wednesday he has class from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. He's very busy and always exhausted. If any of you don't know, Josh has this weird obsession with Cereal! He can polish off a box in one sitting. He has passed this love on to both of my children, that's why I stock up on cereal any chance I can.</p>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-20850383017196152852009-05-15T11:12:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.941-08:00Police and Girls<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWpWdjXJF9DHCy9xh9_XtdIBryEKUjbhvFAebJ1zaFsEedrxLrRY5rVUDSU3AO4iUSfyo6h19rwikp86osAsFFh-DkNpETIyu7jAVt83XBWZuAgznQpPTnMBjnc6Je3doXHgtFql_DpRne/s1600-h/DSCN2646.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336119283820400210" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWpWdjXJF9DHCy9xh9_XtdIBryEKUjbhvFAebJ1zaFsEedrxLrRY5rVUDSU3AO4iUSfyo6h19rwikp86osAsFFh-DkNpETIyu7jAVt83XBWZuAgznQpPTnMBjnc6Je3doXHgtFql_DpRne/s400/DSCN2646.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I haven't posted anything in quite awhile. We've had a Birthday party for Caleb and for Josh. Both were fun and I will have to post pictures later. I do want to tell you a story though. This one starts at 1:00 AM when I got home from my weekly girls night. I locked up the house with the regular lock, the deadbolt, and the extra lock we have on top. Caleb has been just pushing the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs whichever way he wants and he gets out so I did not put it up. I went upstairs and Josh and I went to bed. Around 2:30ish in the morning Josh and I awoke to banging on the door downstairs, when that failed to get us there quick enough the doorbell started ringing incessantly. With a bat in hand we ran down the stairs to see what the devil was going on. When Josh opened the door a flashlight was flashed in his face and a police man and two women were there asking us "Is this your son?". Josh and I STILL are in shock! Caleb had gotten up in the middle of the night and without shoes or pants on decided to go out for a run as he tells us. A lady in another building heard him outside crying for his Mommy and she tried to walk him around the complex to look for his home. When he couldn't point out his house she called the police and when he showed up Caleb told him "I'm Caleb Joseph and I 3" Then he took him and brought the people right to our house. Lets just say Josh and i are buying even more locks for our door and we have taught Caleb ALL of our first and last names and what building we live in and are currently working on phone numbers more than we already were before the incident. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>P.S. Later that day Caleb literally tongued a little neighbor girl! He is a boy and a Larsen through and though. (although I think Josh was a decade or so older when the police brought him home for the first time.)</div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715827595674635799.post-44770718927857182312009-03-31T08:06:00.000-07:002016-11-09T21:35:14.952-08:00Good TimesI got a new job at the same office. They've honored my license as a substance abuse counselor and have put me to work with my own case load of ten clients. At the most I'll have twelve. It has been challenging and very exciting for me. I keep having to pintch myself. It's what I've always wanted to do. I'm still going to school two nights a week and planning to finish with a masters in social work from...somewhere.<br /><br />Erica loves bowling!! We learned this yesterday. She lights up when the pins come crashing down. She and Christy went to a "Twilight" party at a friends house. She loves the movie and wants to read the books now. She's an excellant reader and did very well with her first talk in primary today.<br /><br />Caleb is....turning three. Somehow we still love him. He wasn't as interested with bowling. Instead he would not be torn away from the race car video games. Cried like a baby everytime we tried. Poor kid just wanted to "go driving".<br /><br />Natalie is....turning....sixteen months? She's very opinionated for someone who can't say more than five words. She loves to eat. She loves to play peek-a-boo with whichever parent is trying really hard to sleep in. We love our Nanny Boo.<br /><div></div><br /><div>This is an email update Josh sent some of the family. I thought I'd include it in my post.</div><div></div><br /><div>I haven't updated anyone on our trip up North to the Zoo and riding the Train! So here is a slide show of our adventures. It's quite long and I also added a few other pictures that were hanging around that I thought were cute. Like Erica's hair for Crazy Hair day at school. I put ribbon, braids and a CD in it!<br /><div><embed style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 320px" name="flashticker" align="middle" src="http://widget-20.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="cy=bb&il=1&channel=1585267068858169888&site=widget-20.slide.com"></embed> <div style="WIDTH: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: left"><a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=1585267068858169888&map=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-20.slide.com/p1/1585267068858169888/bb_t056_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide1.gif" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=1585267068858169888&map=2" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-20.slide.com/p2/1585267068858169888/bb_t056_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide2.gif" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=1585267068858169888&map=F" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-20.slide.com/p4/1585267068858169888/bb_t056_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide42.gif" border="0" /></a></div></div><br /><br /></div><div>Our Stake has come up with something we do the first week of every month called 'Family Week' They have cut ALL meetings in our stake for the whole week except the regular Sunday block. I think over the span of a year it'll cut like 100's of meetings I can't remember the exact count it's been a few months.<br /><br /></div><div>So to try to be closer as a family we have decided to use this week to it's fullest. We have taken the CABLE! (I still let my daycare kids watch one little einstiens episode a day and if they are good they can have a movie once or twice a week. I've gotta have some down time!) We now are left to figure out how to entertain ourselves. I've already updated out Quicken accounts, read a book and a half, i'm going to finally get our taxes done, and I have a whole list of other stuff. </div><div></div><div>Well I'm sure there is a lot more that I can say but I'm drawing a blank and this post is forever long anyway. </div><div></div>Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03780051087065645809noreply@blogger.com0
